This site is a blog dedicated to the progress of my children’s language development.
We have 2.5 languages in our home (English, Turkish, and some Korean), and have also been working through a speech delay.
I love language. I utilize it every day during my day job as a technology marketer. I play with it as a writer.
In fact, I love using English words so much that in addition to writing, I have also taught speakers of other languages (TESOL).
And when I’m not using my own language for work or fun, I’m trying to learn others.
The process of language acquisition is fascinating to me and I want to log my own children’s experiences as a way for other multi-lingual, multi-cultural, or even speech-delay families to read, relate and connect.
It may also turn out to be an interesting read for my children when they revisit this as adults.
